Shaun Livingston is back, baby! The Golden State Warriors guard completely posterized Richard Jefferson in the second quarter of Game 5 in the NBA finals, making the crowd lose their minds. WATCH his incredible dunk right here.
You’d never know from how he played last night, June 13, that Golden State Warriors swingman Shaun Livingston suffered from a knee injury that nearly ended his career. Read on to see the incredible video of Shaun dunking with one hand at the Oracle Arena in Oakland, CA!
This is just awesome. Shaun, who had a huge knee injury in 2007 that caused him to miss hundreds of games, has made quite the comeback. WATCH his dunk below:
Despite Shaun’s efforts, the Warriors lost the game (112-97 loss) to the Cleveland Cavaliers, and the team admitted that the absence of Draymond Green was felt. “Draymond does a little bit of everything,” Klay Thompson told ESPN.” Obviously his playmaking, his communication, and his heart and soul.” However, the Warriors coach stated that playing without Draymond wasn’t a fair excuse: “We weren’t very good defensively. We knew we were without Draymond, so there’s no point in harping on that. We had to play better, and we didn’t,” Steve Kerr said.
Furthermore, not everyone was impressed with the Warriors, as NY Giants receiver Odell Beckham Jr. took to Twitter to diss Anderson Varejao during the game! “I said I wasn’t gonna tweet, I love Lebron. But Varejo has turned basketball into soccer….#LetsBeReal #ItsGettinSad,” Odell tweeted. He then posted, “Blows my mind…Real talk. If u had to guard @KyrieIrving or @StephenCurry30, who would u rather ?? My ankles hurt thinkin bout it,” and “Who will win an Oscar first , Varejo? Or another one for Leo!!!?” Ouch! At least we got to witness that master dunk, courtesy of Shaun.
