Will the torture ever stop? Well it turned into serious blackmail this week when the killer revealed to Audrey not only did he know her secret, but he now had video of her at the storage unit… next to Jake’s body.
Audrey spent half the episode of this week’s Scream trying to convince Noah to let it all go (obviously that didn’t work), and the other half trying to protect Emma. With her dad back in town, she was hopeful it would create a new relationship. However, it just led her to Lakewood’s creepy motel, Crescent Palms.
Upon arriving at the Cresent Palms where he requested to meet her, she found newspaper clippings about her — and her dad was nowhere to be found. The killer however, was lurking in the closet. She got out just in time, only to find out her dad didn’t leave her a message and was getting drunk, fighting, and planning to skip town, a request from her mom since he actually hit her when Emma was so little. Catch up on Scream on Amazon.
So who did leave the note? Well probably the same person who asked her dad to come back in the first place. He had emails from Riley — you know, Noah’s girlfriend last season who was dead.
Speaking of returning men, Mr. Branson also made an epic come back this week and we found out it was him who left Brooke flowers, not Jake. He tried to get Brooke back so she leaned on Stavo and ended up kissing him to piss off Mr. Branson. She texted Jake that she was done after finding out the flowers weren’t from him — “Hasta La Vista,” she assumed that meant he was in Mexico with his parents.
Well, not so much. I guess we’ll see. However, one thing is for sure: Audrey may be screwed. After the killer murdered the hotel tenant with a cork screw, he hid that in Audrey’s car and told her to reach under her seat. Now her prints were all over the murder weapon. Yikes!
