Kendall Jenner’s new lob haircut is even more major than we originally thought! The reality TV star turned model apparently made the chop for ‘Vogue’ magazine. Find out the details, ahead.
Kendall basically broke the Internet on June 10th when she cut her signature long locks into a dramatically shorter lob style. Partially revealing her new look on her Snapchat account, Kendall had us all wondering if her long, layered locks were really gone.
The confirmation fans were all waiting for came the very next day when Kendall attended a fashion show with brother-in-law Kanye West, officially debuting the trendy lob haircut. Since she hasn’t changed her look since starting her fashion career, we thought Kendall just wanted to switch things up. But, according to US Weekly, Kendall’s cut came at the request of Vogue magazine.
As US reports, a source claims to have been on the set for Kendall’s September cover shoot, which included top hairstylists, makeup artists and photographers. When contacted by US about the rumor, a rep told the mag, “We never comment on rumors of future editorial.”
Okay, so while there’s no official confirmation that Kendall and her new haircut will be appearing on the cover of Vogue‘s biggest issue, it’s definitely a possibility. In 2014, Kendall’s big sis Kim Kardashian appeared on the mag’s April issue with husband Kanye West, and Kendall herself has made multiple appearances in the magazine. But while Kendall got her own special edition issue this past April and has even landed covers like Vogue Brasil, this would mark her first official American Vogue cover — and for the biggest issue of the year, no less.
What do you think, HollywoodLifers? Could Kendall be Vogue‘s September cover star?
