“Next season they want to honor her and help out her family and are mulling over ideas on what they would like to do in that regard. Whether they set up a charity in her honor, make a donation in her name or something else, they want to work close with the family to do something,” a source tells HollywoodLife.com EXCLUSIVELY. Christina was a beloved contestant on the show in 2014’s season six, making it to third place in the competition under coach Adam Levine, 36.
“It is easily way to early for specifics, but they want to honor her in some way and fashion,” our insider adds. Already its been revealed that Adam has offered to pay for Christina’s funeral costs as well as flying her mother to Orlando, FL so she could be reunited with her son Mark. He was hailed as a hero for tackling Christina’s shooter Kevin Loibl, 27, before he could harm anyone else, even though it was too last to save his sister from the crazed gunman.
Members of The Voice family have spoken out in shock and grief over the shooting, with Adam leading the way by tweeting, “Behati and I are absolutely devastated and heartbroken by Christina Grimmie’s death. The show’s Twitter account immediately sent out prayers when they heard the singer had been critically injured at a meet and greet following her Orlando, FL concert. “We are heartbroken.

Our hearts go out to the friends, fans and family of @TheRealGrimmie,” after she passed. It’s so good to know that they’ll be paying tribute to the beloved singer when the show comes back for season 11.
