Justin Bieber, 22, was so distraught over the June 11 death of his friend, Christina Grimmie, 22, that he had to lay down and let out his tears during his Winnipeg, Canada concert on June 11. Poor Justin just couldn’t handle his deep sorrow over Christina’s devastating murder. Click through to watch the heartbreaking moment from his concert.
Oh, Justin! Poor Biebs had to take the stage in Winnipeg the same day that his friend Christina was assassinated by Kevin James Loibl, 27. Kevin, who killed himself after fatally shooting Christina, was an insane fan who murdered the talented singer while she was signing autographs after her Orlando, Florida concert.
Justin launched into an emotional performance of “Purpose,” backed by just a piano and the screams of his fans. Sitting down on the stage to sing the ballad, he dedicated it to Christina. “Grimmie, can you hear me?” he belts as he lays back, overwhelmed with emotion. Can you see him wiping all the tears from his eyes?
This is just too much to handle. Christina, a beautiful singer and a finalist on The Voice season six, said in the past that one of her greatest dreams was to perform with Justin. In a sense, she was on stage with Justin that night. Justin’s Purpose tour stops in Orlando on June 30. That show will surely be even more emotional than this.
