She’s with her! Senator Elizabeth Warren has announced that she is endorsing Hillary Clinton for President of the United States, leaving many to wonder if we will see TWO women on the voting ballots in November!
Elizabeth Warren, 66, could help Hillary Clinton, 68, make history once again. Rumors are swirling that the Senator will be asked to take the Vice President spot on Hillary’s ticket after the two powerful women shared a private meeting before Elizabeth announced her endorsement. So exciting!
“I’m ready to jump in this fight and make sure that Hillary Clinton is the next president of the United States and be sure that Donald Trump gets nowhere near the White House,” Elizabeth told The Boston Globe on Thursday, June 9. “I’m supporting Hillary Clinton because she’s a fighter, a fighter with guts.”
There you have it! Elizabeth is officially behind Hillary, along with our current President of the United States, Barack Obama. Now that Hillary is the presumptive democratic nominee for president, democrats are coming out in full force to support her, even as her opponent Bernie Sanders refuses to drop out of the race.
However, now the speculation about Elizabeth taking the Vice President spot alongside Hillary has been fueled. But, Elizabeth refuses to answer whether or not she and Hillary have actually talked about their double-ticket. “I know there’s been a lot of speculation on this. The truth is I love the work that I do,” Elizabeth told MSNBC on Thursday night.
However, Elizabeth has been honest that she feels she is definitely ready to take the White House no matter who she shares a ticket with. “Yes I do,” Elizabeth said during her interview when asked directly if she felt she was ready to be Vice President. Hmm, very interesting!
