Sing it, Jason Aldean! The country superstar wowed the crowd at the CMT Music Awards with an awesome performance of ‘Lights Come On.’ After that performance, we just want to dance!
Jason Aldean, 39, knows how to put on a show! He took the CMT Awards to a whole new level with his epic rendition of his hit “Lights Come On.” With his signature cowboy hat on top of his head, Jason stole the show!
Jason performed in the middle of a Nashville street in front of thousands of cheering fans. He lit up the CMT Awards with his electrifying performance. “Lights Come On” is such a jam. We can’t wait to listen to it all summer long! Also, no one can rock a sleeveless plaid shirt quite like Jason.
Earlier in the show, Luke Bryan turned up the heat with his performance of “Huntin’, Fishin’ & Lovin’ Every Day.” Blake Shelton also hit the stage with The Oak Ridge Boys to perform “Doing It To Country Songs.”
Just a few days before his CMT Awards performance, Jason dropped the music video for “Lights Come On.” The music video gives fans a behind-the-scenes look at Jason’s tour. He also marvels at how so many fans keep coming out to support him time and time again.
“Now, every time, to come in and play an arena or amphitheater or stadium, and this many people are here to watch your show and sing your songs back to you — it exceeds anything I ever dreamed up,” he says. Aw!
One day after the CMT Awards, Jason will be kicking off CMA Music Fest with a special performance. He’ll be performing a show on June 9 that will stream on Tidal. It’s going to be so good!
