Slay, girl, slay! Carrie Underwood absolutely killed it when she took the stage at the CMT Music Awards on June 8 — we’ll literally never get sick of watching her perform ‘Church Bells.’ As usual, she looked and sounded incredible, and we’re totally obsessed with the performance!
Could Carrie Underwood, 33, BE any more perfect?! The singer performed her latest single “Church Bells” at the CMT Awards on June 8, and it was easily one of our favorite moments of the night. From her out-of-this-world vocals to that super hot ensemble, we can’t get enough!
The gorgeous MILF was stunning in a lacy black jumpsuit with sheer train and matching cape that she ripped off right before getting to the first chorus of the song — SO hot! Carrie changed the song up a little for this performance, and added an amazing chorus to help give the track a new spin. Love it!
Carrie is up for three awards at the show, tying for the most nominations along with Chris Stapleton and Cam. Not surprisingly, one of the honors she can win is Video of the Year, for her song “Smoke Break,” but she’s up against some tough competition: Cam, Chris, Blake Shelton, Florida Georgia Line, Jason Aldean, Keith Urban, Little Big Town, Luke Bryan, Sam Hunt, Thomas Rhett and Tim McGraw are also vying for the honor.
Additionally, the 33-year-old is nominated for Female Video of the Year, which she won at the start of the show, and CMT Performance of the Year, so it’s definitely a big night for her! Last year, she took home three awards at the show.
Carrie just wrapped the first leg of her Storyteller tour, and although she’ll have a few performances sprinkled throughout the summer, she won’t be back to a busy on-the-road schedule until Part 2 begins in the fall. It’s definitely time for some well-deserved family bonding with her husband, Mike Fisher, and their son, Isaiah, this summer — right?!
What did you think of Carrie’s performance, HollywoodLifers?
