Single? Check. Late nights out with your friends? Check. Throwing some extra bacon on your meal? Double check. Triple check. All the checks. That’s basically what Nick is telling us in his new song, “Bacon,” which is one of the more upbeat and exciting tracks off of his upcoming album, Last Year Was Complicated.
Nick dropped “Bacon” on June 3, exactly one week before LYWC is released on June 10, and it’s no surprise that it is a total jam. The song starts off with Nick talking about his girl leaving, presumably his infamous ex, Olivia Culpo, and then he slowly but surely realizes what this means: he’s totally free to do whatever he wants whenever he wants. Get it, Nick!

“The one thing I love more than being with you, that’s late nights doing what I wanna do. I got sleep eyes, I woke up like this,” Nick sings, shouting out Beyonce‘s “Flawless.” The chorus continues, “Feel like, ah sh-t, throw some bacon on it!”
Ty Dolla $ign also joins the track after the second chorus, adding some extra flavor to the hot R&B song. Love it!
