So sad. Muhammad Ali’s condition has taken a turn for the worse, so his family is rushing to his bedside, as doctors ‘aren’t holding out much hope.’ The legendary boxer’s daughters, Laila and Hana have already flown in to say their goodbyes, HollywoodLife.com has EXCLUSIVELY learned.
Legendary boxer Muhammad Ali is reportedly on life support, as HollywoodLife.com has EXCLUSIVELY learned doctors told his family to prepare for the worst. And that’s why his daughters, Laila and Hana, have already flown in to say their goodbyes. This is truly heartbreaking.
“Muhammad is in extremely critical condition and family members have been told not to hold out too much hope,” a source tells HollywoodLife.com EXCLUSIVELY. “He’s on a life support machine and isn’t breathing on his own. Doctors have prepared the family already for the worse and aren’t holding out much hope.”
“Laila is there, as is Hana already. Other family members have been asked to fly in to say their goodbyes,” our source adds.
The legendary boxer, 74, has been hospitalized since Thursday, June 2, when he was discovered at his home “barely breathing,” according to Radar Online. “He had an unshakeable cough and they had to bring him to hospital and sedate him,” the source said.
And just as we’ve learned, a source also told Radar Online, “Doctors are telling the family that it likely won’t be long until he passes away.” Another insider told the news outlet that his vitals “are terrible,” adding, “Ali is in dire straits and is rapidly deteriorating. His breathing has become very shallow, requiring tubes.”
“The family feels that even if he somehow survives this setback, he’ll be left in a vegetative state. He can’t stand due to stiffness in the legs. Before this incident, he would sometimes freeze upon standing, like his feet are stuck to the ground. Now he cannot even do that. Doctors fear he’s in the early stages of dementia. Or possibly beyond that. The family has gathered around him and is prepared for the worst,” a source also said.
Our thoughts remain with Muhammad and his family during this difficult time.
