LOL! Leandro Barbosa started the NBA Finals game 1 on fire and was scoring points for fun for Golden State Warriors. In fact, he was playing so well he thought he was hilariously trip up referee Ken Mauer and get away with it! Watch the hilarious video here!
The NBA Finals started off in blistering fashion, with both the Cleveland Cavaliers and the Golden State Warriors playing at a frenetic pace. No one was more determined in the second quarter than Leandro Barbosa, 33, who was playing out of his skin. But did he really have to trip the referee Ken Mauer, 61, up while attempting a three-pointer? For comedy value we say YES! Click down for the video!
Now, Leandro was doing his best to evade the attentions of the Cavs defense, and he must’ve been doing such a good job because ref Ken didn’t even seem to see him! In fact, Ken ran straight into Leandro’s trailing leg and slammed straight down onto the court. No one could quite believe what they were watching!
But even though Leandro may have been slightly distracted by Ken’s crashing into him, and coming off worse, it didn’t put him off his stride in the slightest. He absolutely nailed a 3-pointer for his team and everyone seemed to see the funny side in the end, even Ken who actually looked a little embarrassed.
However, it may have been Leandro that came off worse in the incident because only minutes later he was seen walking towards the dressing room after being subbed out of the game, possibly to get treatment for an injury. The irony!

I mean, that’s something we see more often on the soccer field, not on the basketball court! Thankfully, the referee wasn’t hurt but we wonder if Leandro’s injury is serious.
