Whoa. Johnny Depp allegedly ‘punched a wall’ during an argument with Amber Heard, which is actually what led to the injury that halted production on ‘Pirates of the Caribbean: Dead Men Tell No Tales’ in March 2015, a new report claims. Get all the details here!
Amber Heard, 30, only mentioned two specific incidents involving a violent Johnny Depp, 52, in recently released court docs, but now, a new report claims there may have been another altercation. One that resulted in Johnny punching a wall and injuring his hand, which is what they claim ultimately led to production being halted on Pirates of the Caribbean: Dead Men Tell No Tales in March 2015.
Amber allegedly told some friends Johnny injured his hand, punching a wall, during an argument they had in Australia in March 2015, according to ET.
At the time, Johnny’s injury halted production on the new Pirates movie, but no one knew how he injured his hand. He actually had to fly back to the United States to receive medical treatment and surgery.
Filming reportedly stopped for over a month, as Johnny needed a pin inserted into his finger.
Amber and Johnny “fought all the time,” a source told ET. In fact, the insider said their relationship started going south almost immediately after their February 2015 wedding.
“It started a few months after they got married and it just never got better. It was extremely volatile,” the source said.
As HollywoodLife.com previously reported, Amber claims Johnny once grabbed her hair and pushed her to the floor during one specific argument in May 2016, so even “volatile” seems like an understatement.
