Chris Brown will apparently do anything to distance himself from his baby mama, Nia Guzman — including moving to Hawaii! HollywoodLife.com has learned EXCLUSIVELY that the artist is seriously considering purchasing a mansion on the island…and he wants his daughter, Royalty, to join him!
With all of the hostility between Chris Brown, 27, and Nia Guzman, 33, it’s no wonder that the singer is reportedly desperate to up and move to Hawaii. After all, he and Nia have been involved in more drama than EVER lately and Chris has apparently had it! But while he’s ready to leave Nia and her “demands” behind, he’s incredibly anxious to take their little girl, Royalty, 2, with him! And HollywoodLife.com has the EXCLUSIVE on why Chris thinks his little one will “absolutely love” spending time in Hawaii.
“Chris desperately wants to buy a vacation mansion in Hawaii,” an insider revealed to HollywoodLife.com EXCLUSIVELY. “Chris has had some amazing times in Hawaii and thinks Royalty would absolutely love spending time and making memories there.”
Aw! That’s JUST like Chris to totally spoil his little princess. It sounds like a perfect getaway spot for some major daddy/daughter bonding, right?
“He envisions himself taking her fishing, swimming with dolphins, and looking at her eyes open with wonder as she learns about marine mammals,” gushed the insider. How sweet is THAT? But while Chris is apparently super psyched to share Hawaii with Royalty, there’s one thing that’s holding him back — Nia!
“The last thing he wants is for Nia to follow him to Hawaii and take him to court on the island for child support,” our source added. “It’s really a shame. Chris feels trapped. Where ever he goes, here comes Nia with her hands out.” But Chris is reportedly SO set on making this move that he’s already talking to his lawyers to see if he can possibly move out there without Nia “dipping into this pockets once again.” Ouch!
But after all, we can’t completely blame Chris for being cautious. Nia did just take the singer to court — AGAIN — over more custody issues. And she’s reportedly asking for nearly $16k a month in child support. Luckily Nia lost their latest custody battle and Chris can continue seeing Royalty, unsupervised, 12 days a month.
In terms of Hawaii, we think it’s so cute that Chris wants to share his love for the island with Royalty. Hawaii truly does hold a special place in the artist’s heart. Back in 2013, Chris took his then girlfriend, Karrueche Tran, to the vacation spot and the two definitely seemed to enjoy their time there. Hopefully he’ll be able to experience the island with his daughter soon too!
What do you think about Chris moving Royalty part-time to Hawaii, HollywoodLifers? Do you think that would be a good idea on his part?
