Oh no. Former NFL quarterback Johnny Manziel is missing in New York, a new report claims. Johnny was supposed to hitch a ride on a helicopter from Manhattan to the Hamptons on May 28, but he never showed up and he hasn’t been seen since.
Former NFL quarterback Johnny Manziel, 23, may be in trouble. Johnny, who’s had a checkered past, failed to show up to a scheduled helicopter ride on Saturday, May 28, and he never answered his phone. And this came just a day after Johnny reportedly got into an altercation with the owner of a Mercedes he’s been renting.
UPDATE: Johnny has been spotted. He was seen at New York City nightclub 1 Oak on Sunday, May 29. An Instagram user posted a video showing off Johnny on his arm. “Yo, we’re partying with Johnny Manziel,” he said. (Watch the video below)
Johnny was reportedly supposed to board a helicopter flight from Manhattan to the Hamptons on Saturday evening, but he never showed up and calls to his phone went unanswered, according to Page Six. He was supposed to host a small part for family and friends, but that obviously, never happened.
What makes this situation even more alarming is the fact that Johnny allegedly got into an altercation on Friday, May 27. After he and his friends crashed a rented Mercedes in LA, the owner allegedly confronted Johnny outside the Trump Soho, looking for payments he never received.
“He’s not paying for nothing,” car owner Wayne Schneider told Page Six after meeting Johnny in NYC. “He’s been dodging for a month-and-a-half.”
It’s not clear what resulted from their altercation, but Johnny never showed up for his helicopter ride on Saturday.
As HollywoodLife.com previously reported, Johnny was recently indicted for a January domestic violence incident, and his NFL future is in doubt due to his endless controversial behavior.
Our thoughts go out to Johnny at this time — we certainly hope he’s okay.
