The Indy 500 will take place on the Sunday before Memorial Day, as always. This year, that’s on May 29. The big showdown will air at 12:00 pm PST/ 9:00 am EST. But there are fun ceremonies all morning leading up to the main event: the 100th running of the Indy 500!
How do you watch the race?
The best way to watch the race is by tuning in to ABC at noon, perhaps crack open a cold one and enjoy the race before spending the day at the grill. You can also live stream the big race on WatchESPN.
Where is the big race?
As always, the Indianapolis 500 will take place at the Indianapolis Motor Speedway in Indiana, lovingly called The Brickyard. The massive stadium hold 235,000 people, who will watch the IndyCars shoot around the circuit 200 times.
