Three people were injured and one died when Troy opened fire on the crowd at T.I.’s New York City show on May 25. The new video was released by the New York Police Department, and it shows the shocking event in detail. The man who the NYPD identifies as Troy stumbles into the room and fires into the crowd while people cower behind couches and walls.
Troy was shot in the leg himself and sent to the hospital following the shooting. The NYPD posted on Twitter that Troy has officially been arrested and “charged with Attempted Murder & Criminal Possession of a Weapon.” Original reports knew Troy was injured, but not that he was a suspect.
The man killed on May 25 was Troy’s own body guard, whose name was Ronald McPhatter. However, it’s unclear if Troy was the one to kill him. We also don’t know if his death was intentional, because it sounds like a firestorm erupted after he started shooting. We will keep you updated as the story unfolds.
