Pink may have three Grammy Awards under her belt, but that’s not to say she doesn’t have her fair share of critics. In fact, her toughest critic of all may be in her very own family! Hear what Pink’s precious little girl, Willow, had to say about her mom’s voice!
Pink‘s, 36, adorable daughter, Willow Hart, 4, threw some MAJOR shade at her superstar mom when she told her she had a “terrible” voice — ouch! But of course kids will be kids, and Pink totally laughed off her little girl’s diss as she revealed on Good Morning America just how MUCH Willow doesn’t approve of her music!
“When she was two, she was like, ‘Shh, Mama, terrible voice.’ First of all, who taught you the word terrible?” Pink laughed as she discussed her new single “Just Like Fire,” which is featured in the motion picture Alice Through The Looking Glass, on GMA on May 25.
But while Willow is known for being hilariously critical of her mom’s music, apparently she’s pretty fond of Pink’s newest hit. “I can tell she likes [“Just Like Fire”] not because she tells me she likes it, because she would never do that,” the singer dished. “She finds my singing distracting.”
Pink’s gorgeous voice DISTRACTING? We’ve definitely never heard that one before! But obviously Pink thinks her daughter’s disapproval is pretty comical — and we have to agree with her! “I’m like, ‘I had a No. 1 when you were in my belly!’” the artist said.
It seems to us though that Willow is slowly starting to come around and finally appreciate her mom’s amazing talent. After all, the nearly-five-year-old did appear in Pink’s “Just Like Fire” music video — aw! “I know everybody with kids says this — that their kid is their barometer of cool — but Willow tells me which songs of mine she likes and the way she does that is she just starts singing them after one listen,” Pink previously revealed to People magazine.
It definitely sounds like Pink loves being a mom. In fact, she’d love to have an even bigger family! “I made a choice a long time ago that I was going to have a successful family and that is my absolute No. 1 goal in life,” the star gushed on the morning show. Adding that she’s “absolutely” open to adoption or whatever life brings.
What do you think about Willow’s opinion of her mom’s voice, HollywoodLifers? Pretty hilarious, right?
