There’s a lot of drama in the ‘Sister Wives’ family right now, and Kody Brown is definitely going to add to it if he goes through with this! The reality star is reportedly looking for a fifth wife to add into the fold — and we can’t imagine the other four ladies will be happy about it.
Meri Brown’s catfishing scandal has taken a major toll on the Sister Wives family, but Kody Brown already has something new on his mind, according to a new report. Specifically? A new relationship! The reality star is reportedly on the hunt for much younger wife to add to the polygamous group…and it’ll definitely shake things up!
“He’s definitely seeking another wife,” Robyn Brown’s friend, Kendra Pollard, who has been on the show, tells Life & Style. Meanwhile, another source claims, “He’s been looking for more than a year. He’s wanted someone really young, like 19 or 20. And she has to be attractive and thin.”
Kodys current wives, Meri, 45, Janelle, 47, Christine, 44 and Robyn, 37, are reportedly “miserable” already, so this is sure to only intensify the tension. “As it is now, there isn’t enough love to go around,” the mag’s insider adds.
Sister Wives is currently airing its sixth season, and the focus so far has been on the fallout from Meri’s catfishing scandal. Last year, the 45-year-old began an emotional affair via phone calls and texts with a man she thought was named Sam Cooper. However, it wound up being a scam, as con-artist Jackie Overton was really behind the messages.
“I was in a weird place trying to figure out my own happiness,” Meri admitted on the May 8 premiere of Sister Wives. “We were becoming friends and laughing and he was saying all the right things. He started saying he had love for me…and when he started to say ‘love,’ it was flattering.”
The scandal has continued to be a source of drama within the family, but for Kody, it’s all about the money. “He know that teasing the intro of a hot new wife at the end of this season would give people a reason to tune in,” Life & Style’s source explains. “And for the network to renew the series.” Eek!
Do you think adding another woman to the mix is a good idea, HollywoodLifers? Or will it just complicate things even more?
