Here’s the truth: Kate McKinnon is too talented for this world. The ‘Saturday Night Live’ actress commanded the spotlight on ‘The Ellen Show’, flawlessly going back and forth between impressions of Hillary Clinton and Ellen DeGeneres. WATCH!
Kate McKinnon, 32, is a master impressionist, and she graced us with her skills on The Ellen Show, taking a break from the SNL stage. The Ghostbusters star charmed Hillary Clinton, 68, Ellen DeGeneres, 58, and the rest of America on May 25 when she took turns doing her best imitations of the leading ladies. The results were hilarious — and impressive, to say the least. Take a look!
First, Kate’s amazing Ellen impression: “Hi, Hillary. I’m Ellen,” Kate said to Hillary taking on Ellen’s slightly Southern accent. “Thank you so much spending your life fighting of the middle class and for women and for kids. I have also spent my life fighting for kids, but I am talking about baby goats. So when you’re POTUS, please do consider me your GOATUS.” So good.
Kate then stood next to Hillary, bringing it home with her impression of the presidential hopeful. “Hi, Ellen. I’m Hillary Rodham Clinton. Every day we face hard choices, like which statement blazer to wear, but when I’m President I will make sure every American has a fair shot to live up to his or her God-given potential to watch you dance!” …And not a single flaw was found. Watch below:
After the display, Ellen and Hillary went back and forth about which impression was better. “It’s obvious that it’s more fun to do me,” Ellen boasted. Then the pair tried to woo Kate! “Have you ever been to Camp David?” Hillary asked Kate. “I can get you a brand new Chevy Malibu,” Ellen bragged. “Did I mention that I’m running to be the next President of the United States?” Hillary asked. Okay, she wins. Indeed, Kate made her choice by giving Ellen a big hug! So much awesome in one video.
HollywoodLifers, do you think Kate’s better at doing an impression of Hillary, or Ellen?
