Brad Paisley proved to Jimmy Kimmel that he can sing about any current event, including the discriminatory transgender bathroom laws in North Carolina! Click through to watch him perform his funny song!
Brad Paisley, 43, stopped by Jimmy Kimmel Live! on May 24 and performed a special song during his interview with Jimmy Kimmel. When Jimmy asked him if he could sing about a current event, Brad pulled out his guitar and delivered an epic original song about the terrible, discriminatory bathroom laws in North Carolina that prevent transgender people from using the restroom of their choosing. It was supportive of transgender individuals, and hilarious! Click through to watch his performance!
How great is this song? Obviously, Brad is one of the most talented country singers of all time, but who knew that he could pull this off? Brad’s song mocked the absurdity of not allowing trans persons to use the bathroom corresponding to their preferred gender. How could that even be enforced? Just read Brad’s lyrics that mock the whole situation:
Sometimes it’s hard to be a woman
Especially when you were born a man
They’re checking for vaginas
If you want to use the can
And I say, stand by your man
We’re all just human beings
He’s just a human peeing
In the stall right next to you
Sit by your man
Why is this such a big deal?
Hike up your dress and take a stand
And stand by your man
Amazing! That wasn’t the only performance Brad gave on Kimmel, either! Brad and Demi Lovato, 23, crushed their new duet, “Without A Fight,” a cool song about two lovers making up without fighting. This was only the second time they performed the song live! Brad told Jimmy that their collaboration happened after he played guitar for her performance at iHeartRadio, and she asked if they could work together. Obviously he said yes!
