Little Big Town’s performance on The Voice was awesome. They opened the show, and it was the perfect song to get the show started. The song is so upbeat!
The band’s performance on The Voice finale isn’t random. The track was co-written with judge Pharrell. He produced all eight tracks on their new album, which is titled Wanderlust. The new album will be released on June 10.
The album is going to be unlike anything the band’s down before. “It’s not a country record,” Karen Fairchild told Billboard. “And it’s not like anything we’ve ever done. It’s fun to be spontaneous and put it out there to the fans, because we want to, and not to overthink it, but just because it has brought us a lot of joy, and we think it will for them as well.”
Sia brought down the house with a performance of “Cheap Thrills.” Blake Shelton, Ariana Grande, and CeeLo Green also performed on the finale. Everyone was uncertain whether or not Zayn Malik would perform, but he showed up! The final four fighting for the title of The Voice champion — Alisan Porter, Adam Wakefield, Hannah Huston and Laith Al-Saadi — also performed as well.
