Ginger Zee, 35, is a finalist on Dancing With The Stars with hopes of winning it all but now a pelvis injury is preventing her from practicing. The ABC News Chief Meteorologist was the fan favorite to win this season of DWTS so it would be a disaster is she had to miss her finale performance. If Ginger can not perform on May 23rd, she may be forced to withdraw from the competition. What a tough break! Keep reading for more on this devastating injury.
Ginger gave birth to a boy, Adrian Zee, in Dec. and that is the cause for the loose hip and pelvis. “My pelvis was just moving all over,” she explained to ABC News cameras. That is too bad, we were really rooting for her and her partner Val Chmerkovskiy, 30. They were doing so well all season. This terrible injury for her is simply heart-breaking for all of her fans who have been loyal in supporting her in every episode of DWTS this season.
According to the report by ABC News, Ginger consulted with a therapist and was recommended to cease her practice. She has been studying tapes of rehearsals while troupe member Jenna Johnson is dancing and practicing on her behalf. This is so sad because Ginger has come so far in the reality show competition. Ginger is in the final three next to America’s Next Top Model winner Nyle DiMarco, 27 and MMA fighter Paige VanZant, 22.
