So sweet! Season 10 of ‘The Voice’ may be coming to an end on May 24, but win or lose, Adam Levine plans on maintaining a relationship with the last guy on his team, Laith Al-Saadi, he told HollywoodLife.com EXCLUSIVELY. Find out what he said, here!
This is why we love Adam Levine! The Voice coach isn’t just trying to win a competition — he thoroughly enjoys building relationships with the contestants who end up on his team. In fact, he told us EXCLUSIVELY that he plans on staying friends with Laith Al-Saadi after Season 10 comes to a close on May 24.
When asked if they’ll stay in touch, Laith told HollywoodLife.com EXCLUSIVELY, “I certainly hope we do!” And then, Adam added, “Well, we’re friends, you know, people think these are just our prized horses and this is the Kentucky Derby, but it’s not. I’ve never seen it that way. These are just people that we meet along the way and, you know, I have a relationship with pretty much everybody I’ve known, especially this closely, because this is my guy, this is my last guy on my team and there’s a relationship that’s forged that never goes away. It’s not like we’re going to hang out every day.”
Isn’t Adam just the cutest?! No wonder everyone begs to be on his team during the audition rounds.
Furthermore, when speaking about his favorite moment on the show this season, Laith said, “I think when I walked in to do ‘Born Under a Bad Sign’ for my rehearsal and Adam had a telly on, and then a couple of weeks later he played drums during ‘The Thrill Is Gone.’ But I think just the fact that we’ve been able to actually jam together and have a good time, I don’t know, I don’t want to speak for you, but I feel like we’ve had a more peer-like relationship than pupil-ish and that’s just awesome because I really love all the criticism and advice that I get from you, but at the same time it feels like it’s… like friends.
Then, Adam added, “Like two dudes hanging out.” Aww!
What do YOU think, HollywoodLifers? Are you surprised to hear Adam stays close with his contestants?
