No one knows how to rock an awards show quite like Justin Bieber! The singer hit the stage at the Billboard Music Awards on May 22 to perform his hits ‘Company’ and ‘Sorry,’ and as usual, it was totally epic.
Justin Bieber, 22, is one of the biggest names in music, and after a year full of hits, he was the perfect addition to the performance list at the 2016 Billboard Music Awards. The Biebs took a break from his Purpose tour and headed to Las Vegas for the awards show, and he absolutely slayed on stage — duh!
Justin kicked things off with “Company,” performing in front of an insane light show by himself, with dancers slowly joining in as the set went on. About halfway through the song, the screen lifted up, and Justin came front-and-center showing off his insane dance moves. Eventually, he segued into “Sorry,” and had the crowd going totally crazy!
Besides just performing, the 22-year-old has a lot more to look forward to at this huge show. Obviously, he was nominated for tons of awards, including Top Artist, Top Male Artist, Top Billboard 200 Artist, Top Hot 100 Artist, Top Billboard 200 Album, Top Radio Songs Artist, Top Social Media Artist, Top Streaming Song and Top Streaming Songs Artist, Top Dance/Electronic Song. The Billboard Music Awards are always a jam-packed show, full of great performances and memorable moments, and this year has been no different. And because the honors are literally based on how an artist does on the charts, winning an award at this event is pretty special!
Recently, Justin totally shocked his Beliebers by revealing he would no longer be taking photos with fans, and he followed up the announcement by displaying some odd behavior while touring the country. However, he looked and sounded great tonight, which we couldn’t be happier to see!
