The chemistry was off the charts when Blake Shelton and Gwen Stefani took the stage at the Billboard Music Awards on May 22! The hot couple performed their new duet ‘Go Ahead & Break My Heart,’ and they looked SO in love.
Blake Shelton, 39, and Gwen Stefani, 46, may not sing the same genre of music, but when they bring their voices together, it’s pure magic! That’s exactly what happened on May 22 when the lovebirds sang their hit “Go Ahead And Break My Heart” at the 2016 Billboard Music Awards — and we’re beyond obsessed.
Blake and Gwen’s chemistry was absolutely insane as they sang to one another on the stage — they literally could not keep their eyes off one another and it was BEYOND sweet. The 46-year-old looked absolutely incredible in a sheer, beaded dress with natural, glowing makeup, and her admiration for her man was absolutely undeniable, as she was beaming the entire performance. Our hearts are melting, guys!
“Go Ahead And Break My Heart” is featured on Blake’s brand new album If I’m Honest, which he just released on May 20. The country singer actually began writing the song last fall, then sent it to his girlfriend and asked her to finish it. Although she was skeptical, she went for it, and it clearly paid off. The track is a beyond honest, and tells the tale of their relationship, which formed unexpectedly after their respective divorces last summer.
“I tell people all time: Gwen saved my life last year. She did,” the 39-year-old recently gushed. “I think she’d tell you something similar about me. It’s not something anybody could’ve seen coming besides God, I guess, because it doesn’t look like it would make sense. All I can tell you is that it does. It just makes the most perfect sense for us and where we’re at in our lives.” Stream hits from Blake and Gwen on Amazon Music HERE.
Of course, the No Doubt frontwoman has expressed similar sentiments about her man — and their romance is the main topic of her most recent album This Is What The Truth Feels Like, which dropped in March. Ugh, these two are too perfect!
