Slay, Mother Monster! Lady Gaga took aim at Dr. Luke after hearing that he had banned Kesha from performing at the Billboard Awards. Click inside to see the scathing tweet!
Lady Gaga, 30, has thrown her support behind Kesha, 29, once again. While referencing one of Disney’s worst villains, the voice-stealing Ursula, the “Bad Romance” singer tore into producer Dr. Luke, 42, for stopping Kesha from singing live at the 2016 Billboard Music Awards.
No one puts Kesha in the corner. Proving to be the best friend ever, Lady Gaga lashed out on social media when she found out that Kesha’s performance at the BBMA’s had been shelved. As if that wasn’t bad enough, it seems pretty obvious that she’s even more furious at Dr. Luke for pulling the plug and keeping Kesha from shining on such an important night.
Not only is Lady Gaga standing up for Kesha, but she’s also tearing into Dr. Luke for acting like he owns her. And who can blame her? After all, it’s definitely Dr. Luke’s fault that Kesha won’t be making an epic comeback at the BBMA’s.
Here’s what Gaga had to say on Twitter while RT’ing another outlet breaking the news:

This isn’t the first time that Lady Gaga has made a public stance to stand behind Kesha during her time of need. The pair met admit Kesha’s legal battle with Dr. Luke, and Lady Gaga revealed that she believed Kesha was being “publicly shamed” for the rape accusations she made against her producer. Their united front came after Kesha thanked Lady Gaga for her powerful performance at the 2016 Grammys, where she featured victims of sexual abuse.
As of the time this article was published, neither Kesha or Dr. Luke had responded to Lady Gaga’s tweet.
