Wow — this is beyond disturbing! In a totally heartbreaking Snapchat video, Waka Flocka Flame looked on as a screaming and crying toddler was held captive behind the bars of a dog cage. Talk about disgusting — and you better believe fans were completely outraged!
Waka Flocka Flame, 29, might not have been the one in the cage in his gross video, but the rapper is certainly in the dog house NOW! After all, Waka seemingly locked a tiny girl in a dog cage and FILMED it for all his Snapchat viewers to see. Definitely not cool. And now parents everywhere are totally freaking out about the crazy incident — check out the vid below!
The little girl in Waka’s vid had tears in her eyes as she desperately reached out between the bars of a dog crate for someone to free her. Waka can even be heard asking, “You want me to bond you out?” And while the artist did eventually let the toddler out, the scene was NOT a pretty sight.
After posting the video and receiving major backlash, Waka did post an explanation, according to TMZ, saying the little girl was his niece and that she had put herself in the dog crate. And honestly, we can totally see that, after all, the rapper did proceed to dry the girl’s tears with a kiss in a later shot. But still. Even if the video WAS just a joke, the sight (and sound) of a crying toddler is not funny at all. I mean, come ON!
We think it’s pretty safe to say that Waka definitely crossed the line with this one. And many fans agree, taking to social media and going off on the celeb for being cruel to a crying toddler. He even set his Instagram account to private! We do understand that this could have all been a bizarre attempt at playing “make believe” gone wrong, but once a kid starts crying, it’s time to shut off the camera and help them out.
As far as we know, Waka doesn’t have any biological kids, just a stepdaughter whom he shares with his wife, Love and Hip Hop Atlanta star Tami Rivera. Hmm, we wonder what Tami thinks of this shocking vid!
What do you think about Waka’s video, HollywoodLifers? Was it an innocent joke or did he go too far?
