Dang! Selena Gomez knows how to throw a party. Well, backstage at her ‘Revival’ show and on her tour bus that is. She just revealed to ‘Bon Appetit’ magazine that she has to have certain foods on standby, at all times, while on the road. Keep reading for the details!
Eats! Selena Gomez’s, 23, Revival tour and outfits are killer, but they’re nothing compared to the food requests on her bus and backstage tour rider. Does the “Hands To Myself” singer like fancy stuff or simple treats? Click to find out what Selena’s must-have snacks are!
In an interview with Bon Appétit magazine, the 23-year-old pop star revealed details about her current tour, like the foods she likes to munch on backstage at shows and while traveling on her tour bus. “I keep things pretty simple [backstage],” she said. “Plenty of water and pickles.” Who doesn’t love pickles…seriously?! She changes things up when it comes to eating on her tour bus, though. “Hot Cheetos and chocolate are staples,” she added. Yum!
Don’t think her eats requests mean she’s not watching her figure while she’s touring. She told EW.com earlier this month, “I used to have chicken pot pie, Hot Cheetos, Gatorade, Red Bull if I needed a pep in my step. But nope, I can’t do that. I’ve got to be a little more conscious. My trainer won’t let me eat [junk] but I can still have my pot pies. Just not every day.” Ah, the struggle is real!
The singer also told Bon Appétit that while on tour, she loves to get Thai food and “a good plate of fried chicken.” KFC, anyone? According to her latest Snapchat, she’s a big fan of drinking Coca-Cola, too. But the number one beverage she has to keep around? Coffee.
Sel began her Revival tour earlier this month. She is set to continue performing in various cities in Canada until the last week of May. Next, she’ll head back to the United States and continue her tour there until July.
