Whoa! Is that the new iPhone 7?! A website based in China released photos on May 16 of what may be a first look at the new phone that will be launched in Sept., and it’s pretty different from what Apple’s been making us think it would be. Here’s the scoop!
New photos of what might be the official new iPhone 7 were released on May 16, and the cell is looking pretty sleek and sexy, but definitely different than we were expecting based on recent renderings Apple has released. We have all the details, right here!
Well, this isn’t what we were expecting! Chinese website Weibo released some images that are supposedly of the new iPhone 7 set to launch in Sept. 2016, according to mobipicker.com, and they’re a little different from some of the official renderings from Apple.
The first major difference we noticed is that Apple made it seem like there would no longer be a bump where the camera lens is, but there’s clearly a raised metal ring in the leaked image of a brushed gold iPhone. That doesn’t bother us too much though, because the rest of the phone is super sleek and slim. We love the design!
It also seems that they’ve added a new autofocus module between the lends and the flash. That means better Insta pics so we’re totally on-board! One thing we can’t tell is whether or not Apple did away with the regular headphone jack. There’s been a lot of talk about creating special headphones that plug into the lightning post (where you plug in your charger) which would make the phone thinner. Unfortunately we can’t tell from these pics. Plus, we don’t know if they’re the real deal! Hopefully they are, the phone looks awesome!
