Drake sure does know how to entertain! The rapper did his thing on the ‘Saturday Night Live’ stage on May 14, performing his hit ‘One Dance,’ but it was his killer dance moves we couldn’t stop staring at!
Drake, 29, may have just become one of our favorite performers ever on Saturday Night Live. The “Hotline Bling” singer proved that he’s basically the best at what he does during his SNL episode on May 14 by murdering his performance of “One Dance.” He had everyone in studio 8H dancing, that’s for sure. Keep reading for details!
Who doesn’t love jamming out to some Drizzy? Drake owns whatever he does these days, whether it’s singing, rapping, acting or getting his groove on, and let’s be real, his dance moves during his “One Dance” performance on the show were weirdly amazing. Don’t get too excited, they weren’t as entertaining as his infamous “Hotline Bling” video moves, but he definitely made us want to get off the couch and get down! The song is from his new album Views, and in typical Drake fashion, it seems like everyone is a bit obsessed.
The whole performance was filled with Drake getting down. There were hot female dancers shaking their booties in the background, and his “bling” moves resurrected. The best part had to be when he busted out some air guitar! Oh, Drake!
Before performing on the show, Drizzy acted out some hilarious sketches with some of SNL’s best comedians. Our favorite had to be his opening monologue where he took a jab at Donald Trump and the celebs who say they’re moving if he wins. We’re sure all of that came to him easily since he does have “actor” on his resume. Ahem, thanks to his Degrassi days, of course.
The only thing that could’ve been better than all of this is if there was an epic Nicki Minaj, 33, or Meek Mill, 29, diss during one of his sketches. Drake isn’t talking to his Young Money label-mate because of her boyfriend. Meek and Drake have a beef with each other that goes way back, diss songs included and all. Oh, the drama!
What did you think of Drake’s “One Dance” SNL performance, HollywoodLifers?
