Whoa! Kanye West is featured on ScHoolboy Q’s new track, ‘THat Part,’ and during his rap verse, he compares his wife, Kim Kardashian, to a killer — specifically, her uncle, O.J. Simpson. It’s pretty crazy. Listen to the new song here!
It looks like Kanye West got inspired by FX’s recent new series, People v. O.J. Simpson, because in his latest verse, he not only mentions O.J. Simpson, but he actually compares his wife, Kim Kardashian, to him, saying she’s “gonna kill me.” Yes, really.
On ScHoolboy Q‘s new track, titled “THat Part,” Kanye raps about visiting a strip club and Kim getting upset about it, TMZ reports. He says, “Wifey gonna kill me, she the female O.J.” Woof. The verse is awkward for so many different reasons. For one, he’s comparing his wife to an alleged murderer. And two, he’s her “uncle.” That’s some nasty shade on so many levels!
Obviously, it’s just a song, but it does seem pretty odd to us that Kanye would say such a thing about Kim, especially because she grew up with O.J. and he was a big part of her family. They’re so close, in fact, that a recent report claimed O.J. hopes to date Kris Jenner when and if he’s released from jail.
“O.J. has had a crush on Kris forever,” Ian Halperin, author of Kardashian Dynasty: The Controversial Rise of America’s Royal Family, told The Sun. “He believes the relationship that Kris is in now with Corey Gamble is a sham. He believes he is the man for her and intends to pursue her when he gets out of prison,” Halperin continued. “There is definitely a long history there.” A long history indeed, which is why Kanye’s new verse seems so awkward.
Anyway, take a listen to the song above and tell us how you feel about it.
