Katy Perry might be totally heartbroken after seeing the photo of Selena Gomez PDAing with Orlando Bloom on May 6, but a source tells HollywoodLife.com EXCLUSIVELY why she can’t actually accuse the actor of cheating on her, despite the fact that they’ve been dating. Here’s why.
Uh oh! Katy Perry, 31, has run into a small problem while deciding whether or not to confront Orlando Bloom, 39, for possibly cheating on her with Selena Gomez, 23. A source tells HollywoodLife.com that Katy believes he didn’t actually “cheat.” We have the reason why, right here.
We were totally flabbergasted on May 6 when photo of Selena snuggling up to and seemingly KISSING Orlando after her Las Vegas concert were revealed. The duo dated a bit last year, but Orlando has been dating Katy for months now and just days before they looked happy as can be at the Met Gala together. Naturally, Katy was totally blindsided, but she can’t actually say he cheated on her.
“The thing is her and Orlando never officially had the talk,” a source told HollywoodLife.com EXCLUSIVELY. You know, “the talk” about what they actually are together. “He didn’t want to put labels on things and she didn’t want to push him.” Oh girl, that will always come back to bite you!
“Now it’s obvious why he didn’t want to, he’s just like every other guy she‘s dated, he wants to have his cake and eat it too,” the source continued. “But she can‘t really accuse him of cheating because they never had the talk so this is a bit of a grey area.” We don’t like that AT ALL. They may have never had a discussion about what their label is, but that doesn’t mean Orlando didn’t know that what he did would be hurtful to Katy, and that’s just not nice.
