Uh oh! Carlin Q. Williams has come forward as the first person to officially claim that he is Prince’s son, and thus his sole heir. Even though he’s currently in prison, he thinks he’s entitled to the late singer’s entire estate!
Well, well, well! Colorado prison inmate Carlin Q. Williams, 39, has filed a claim demanding a DNA test to prove he’s Prince‘s biological son and the rightful heir to late singer’s vast fortune. Let’s get to know a little more about the man making claims to be the spawn of the Purple One.
Here are five things to know about Carlin:
1. Carlin would have been conceived when Prince was still in his teens.

2. Carlin says his mom hooked up with Prince back in 1976 before he became famous.
According to his mom Marsha Henson, she claims in a sworn affidavit that she and the singer drank wine in a Kansas City hotel lobby then got a room at another hotel. She also says she knows Carlin is Prince’s child because they had unprotected sex and she hadn’t slept with anyone else before becoming pregnant.
3. Carlin is currently incarcerated.
He is serving a 92 month sentence in a Florence, CO federal prison for possession of a firearm by a felon. He also has a criminal history that includes arrests for domestic violence and drug offenses. He won’t be released until 2020.
3. Like Prince, Carlin is also a musician.
The rapper goes by the name Prince Dracula, and is a vocalist and lyricist according to his Reverbnation.com page. He also says he’s a producer and manager for We Are 90% Family Members, and on the website he even refers to himself as Prince’s son. He has 15 songs available for purchase at $1.29 each. .
5. Carlin is the first person to officially come forward claiming to be Prince’s child.
His attorneys filed paperwork May 9 in Carver County, MN requesting a DNA test and petitioned for the court to determine that he is the “sole surviving legal heir” to Prince’s estate, which is estimated to be worth $300 million. A judge on May 6 allowed for DNA testing of the late singer’s blood by anyone coming forward to claim paternity by the late singer.
