Rickon Stark is back! He made his dramatic reappearance on the May 8 episode of ‘Game of Thrones,’ and it’s been a long time since we’ve seen him. Here’s 5 key things to know about him!
Rickon Stark (Art Parkinson) finally showed up again on Game of Thrones, but things don’t look good for him. The youngest Stark has grown up a lot since we last saw him. HollywoodLife.com is here to get you up to date on all things Rickon!
1. Who is Rickon Stark?
Okay, so it has been a while. Rickon is the youngest member of the Stark family. He’s Sansa, Arya, Bran and Robb’s little brother. Jon Snow is his half brother.
2. The last time we officially saw Rickon was in season 3!
The last time Art Parkinson was credited in an episode was in season 3. He was featured in the “Rains of Castamere” episode. Rickon was traveling with Bran, Osha, Hodor, Meera and Jojen. Bran decided to go beyond the Wall and thought it was too dangerous for the young Rickon, so Bran sent Rickon with Osha to House Umber.
3. Theon was forced to lie to Sansa about Rickon.
Ramsay made Theon keep up the charade that he had killed Rickon and Bran. However, Theon eventually revealed to Sansa that Rickon and Bran were alive. This was a turning point for Sansa and Theon.
4. Rickon is a huge threat to Ramsay.
At the moment, Rickon is the true head of House Stark. Since Bran is gone and Robb is dead, that would make Rickon the Warden of the North. And we all know what Ramsay did when he felt threatened. He killed his father’s newborn baby boy!
5. Will Rickon die in season 6?
Now that he’s in Ramsay’s hands, anything is possible. Ramsay really has no reason to keep Rickon alive. If Ramsay hears that Jon Snow is heading south, he may just off Rickon right away.
