How amazing is this? Four months after Lamar Odom was released from the hospital, the first video of his recovery process was revealed on ‘Keeping Up With The Kardashians.’ Watch Lamar learn to walk again right here!
There’s no denying that Lamar Odom‘s recovery from his near-fatal overdose was miraculous, but now there’s a video to prove it. When the 36-year-old former NBA player’s health crisis was featured on Keeping Up With The Kardashians on May 8, fans got a glimpse of Lamar’s first steps after being in a coma — and it’s nothing short of amazing!
A clip from KUWTK features a home video of Lamar with a walker, slowly but surely making his way down the hospital hallway with some help from two nurses. Khloe, who’s operating the camera, encourages her estranged husband by sweetly saying, “You’re doing so well, good job!” Needless to say, the moment is both remarkable and heartwarming!
Considering Lamar was in a coma for three days and was even told he may never walk again, the fact that he was able to move around just months after being found unconscious is an absolute miracle. We can only imagine what it was like to actually witness it in person! Take a look at Lamar learning to walk again below:
As Kim Kardashian mentions in the video, Lamar’s recovery may have been much different — or at least much slower — if Kanye West hadn’t been around to encourage LO. In fact, even Lamar thinks it was music that may have saved his life!
Because of the impact Kanye had on Lamar’s recovery, Lam Lam wanted to show his support right back by attending the Yeezy Season 3 show on Feb. 11. This was Lamar’s first public outing since his crisis, which meant it was his first opportunity to show the world what an amazing recovery he made thanks to Kanye, Khloe Kardashian, and the whole Kardashian crew. But while we’ve now seen Lamar walk, talk, and even dance, seeing his miraculous first steps made his recovery feel even more incredible than it already did!
