‘Finger lickin’ good?’ — the famous KFC slogan has taken on a whole new meaning after the chicken restaurant announced they are releasing fried chicken-flavored nail polish in Hong Kong.
Um, gross? I love fried chicken and I love nail polish, but combining the two? This is a real-life ad campaign by Kentucky Fried Chicken that exists in Hong Kong and fans are freaking out. Would you try this edible nail polish?
There are two colors, orange and nude, which translate into “flavors” — hot and spicy, and original.
Anna Mugglestone, who is the marketing and communications director for the agency running this campaign, Ogilvy & Mather Group, told The New York Times:
“Yes, it is actually a real thing. I tried it myself in the office when they were doing testing. It tastes like chicken. It’s crazy. I don’t know how they do it.”
The campaign aims “to remind the younger generation” of “the great taste and good times the brand stands for.”

In addition to the print ad campaign, there is a video. Watch it above!
We’re literally speechless at the thought of this. And also, why? How? Can you wash your hands? We have so many questions.
AdWeek published a statement from the brand on how to consume? “To use, consumers simply apply and dry like regular nail polish, and then lick — again and again and again.”
WHAT?! We can never look at chicken fingers the same way.
What do you think about this crazy invention? Is it cool? Gross? Would you try it?
