Justin Timberlake is certainly one dedicated father. And he does NOT mess around when it comes to his son’s hygiene! In fact, the young dad even admitted on ‘The Z100 Morning Show’ that sometimes ‘you just have to get in there’ when cleaning a child’s behind! Well, I guess we can’t argue with him on that one.
Did Justin Timberlake, 35, really just say that? In a hilarious radio interview with Elvis Duran, 51, on The Z100 Morning Show, the singer/songwriter revealed his TRUE feeling about fatherhood — and honestly, sometimes it’s pretty darn messy! But while Justin tends to be a neat freak, when it comes to his adorable son, Silas, 1, he’s admittedly realized that NOTHING “trumps” his son’s “butt cleanliness!”
“Oh you look at everything differently now!” Justin gushed when Elvis asked how the superstar looks at life differently now that he’s a father. “Yes, having a little man in the house now changes everything!” But then Justin got maybe a bit too TMI when he revealed how having a baby has even changed his feelings toward poop!
“When I used to clean up my dog’s poop, it was like it was a science project; I wouldn’t get very close to it,” Justin dished. “When you have a kid, and there’s poop, you gotta to get in there! Nothing trumps your kid’s butt cleanliness, so you just have to get in there!” Wow — being a dad has CERTAINLY taught Justin a lot! But honestly, we think it’s so cute how Justin isn’t afraid to get down and dirty when it comes to the wellbeing of his son. WHAT a great dad!
But Justin did not call into the radio show to discuss poop — shocker, right? He actually was on air to chat about his new song, which is extremely catchy btw, “Can’t Stop The Feeling!” In case you guys haven’t checked it out, you can watch the stellar music vid here. But not only has Justin been serving as the Executive Music Producer for DreamWork’s Trolls, which is what “Can’t Stop The Feeling!” is for, but he’s ALSO been working on an album of his own.
And although his own album is due to be released in November, the solo artist admitted that in reality, he doesn’t really have any deadline at all. “To be honest right now it’s in such a gestational period, it’s in its infancy,” Justin revealed. “I’m kind of just in the creative process right now and I don’t really have a deadline. For me, when I make an album for myself, it’s done when it’s done.” Well, Justin, we hope it’s done relatively soon! Because if it’s anything like “Can’t Stop The Feeling!” we know we are going to be huge fans!
What do you think about Justin’s hilarious interview, HollywoodLifers? Do you agree with the new dad?
