When the Victoria’s Secret Angels start spilling fitness secrets, we listen up — who better to take workout advice from than the always flawless Gigi Hadid, 21, and Adriana Lima, 34? Well, it turns out, they’ve been flaunting their full routines right on their Instagram accounts!
Okay, so good genetics have definitely played a role in their impossibly long legs and chiseled cheekbones, but when it comes to staying fit (and getting those washboard abs), Gigi, Adriana and Doutzen Kroes put in some serious work in the boxing ring.
With Adriana leading the pack, the veteran supermodel’s Instagram feed is as full of makeup-free sweat sessions in the gym as it is of the runway and red carpet events. Never afraid to post a sweaty selfie, the mom of two keeps her flat abs with a mix of one-on-one boxing sessions at 5th Street Gym, running and ab workouts.
Then there are Gigi and Doutzen who turn to the punching bag when they’re gearing up for a big event. Ahead of her first VS show, Gigi was a regular at NYC’s Gotham Gym, telling Vogue magazine, “Boxing has been great for me because it’s like my new sport, and it’s something that I can get better at.” Doutzen recently shared a pic of her boxing session, too, saying, “Back at it! Now preparing for Cannes!”
But it’s not just the VS girls that swear by their boxing sessions. Pretty Little Liars star, Shay Mitchell, is a longtime fan of the ring, and she even got co-star Ashley Benson into the workout. Like the Victoria’s Secret models, Ashley was recently pictured at Gotham Gym, ready to throw some punches.
