It’s not every day that Kanye West offers up an apology, so when he does it for the same out-of-line comment twice, it’s kind of a big deal. Once again, the rapper publicly said sorry to Wiz Khalifa and Amber Rose for mentioning their son in their Twitter feud — and he actually sounds sincere.
Believe it or not, guys, Kanye West, 38, does know how to apologize. He’s once again extended an apologetic message to Wiz Khalifa, 28, and Amber Rose, 32, for involving their son in a rant on Twitter, and admits he feels worse and worse about the diss every day. Whoa — pretty bold!
“I really want to stress the amount of respect that I have for parents,” Yeezy said on Steve Harvey’s radio show. “There is no concept of anyone beating up on someone else’s child or that type of concept. So, every day I feel more deeply, deeply, deeply apologetic about that concept, because I only want to put out positive, positive, positive concepts.”
In case you forgot everything that went down back in January, Kanye and Wiz went at it on Twitter, and ‘Ye starting throwing his ex and Wiz’s baby mama, Amber, into the mix. “You wouldn’t have a child it it wasn’t for me,” the 38-year-old wrote, meaning that Amber only got with Wiz because Kanye broke up with her. “You own waves???? I own your child.”
That was when the model got involved herself — she was not having anyone talking about her son. “Awww @kanyewest are u mad I’m not around to play in ur a**hole anymore?” she wrote. LOL. For the record, Kanye has denied liking this alleged butt play, but it was definitely a great retaliation at the time.”
Eventually, Kim Kardashian’s husband realized the error of his ways, and although he didn’t apologize for any other parts of the feud, he did make sure to take back the part about little Sebastian. “God’s dream…. Never speak on kids again,” he tweeted. “All love… all blessings.”
“Everything’s cool,” Wiz admitted. “We spoke, it’s all good. Yes, he apologized and I accept his apology.” These guys will clearly never be the best of friends, but this is a good start!
What do you think of Kanye’s apology, HollywoodLifers? Do you think he’s being sincere?
