Kendall Jenner kept it simple and classic in the beauty department at the Met Ball, letting her cutout dress do the statement making. Wearing her hair slicked back into a high ponytail, Kendall opted for a soft makeup look with highlighted cheekbones. Get the details on her look, and let us know what you think!
Kendall Jenner is proving herself to be a red carpet pro! The 20-year-old looked stunning at NYC’S Met Gala on May 2 with a classic beauty look and futuristic style Versace cutout dress that went with the ball’s fashion meets technology theme.
Before she hit the red carpet, the Estée Lauder spokesmodel took over the brand’s Instagram and Snapchat accounts with fellow model Joan Smalls. Giving behind-the-scenes glimpses at their makeup counter and sharing silly pictures as they got ready, Estée teased that a major hair makeover might be happening when they shared a snap of what appeared to be the model in a platinum blonde pixie.
Playing a prank on us all, Kendall arrived with her long dark hair very much intact and styled into a slicked back high ponytail. The ponytail had a little bit of volume at the crown of her head and was styled completely straight for a more modern finish.
Hrush Achemyan was behind Kendall’s makeup look, which centered around the most perfectly illuminated cheekbones we’ve ever seen. Working with Estée Lauder, she shared a picture of some of her favorite products ahead of the ball, including the Estée Lauder Perfectionist Youth-Infusing Makeup.
Of course, over the weekend, Kendall got glam for another big event, the White House Correspondents’ Dinner. Instead of going futuristic with her look like she did for the Met’s Manus x Machina: Fashion In An Age Of Technology theme, Kendall went for a more ’90s-inspired look. Wearing her hair in a messy ponytail, Kendall rocked a brown lip gloss to go with her retro diamond choker necklace.
