Prince is said to have secretly entered an outpatient rehab plan just a month before his death on Apr. 21, a new explosive report has claimed. The treatment program is alleged to have been the ‘Purple Rain’ star’s attempt to move away from using medication to treat his chronic hip pain. Read the details here!
This is just too sad. A new report claims that just one month before Prince died, the Purple Rain star was allegedly signed up for an outpatient treatment program as he planned on moving away from using medication to treat his chronic hip pain, 5 EYEWITNESS NEWS reports.
Sources have told the news outlet that Prince was seeing a doctor as he looked at finding a solution to his hip complaint, as well as trying to stop using alleged medication that he was prescribed for his long-standing health problem. However, sources didn’t confirm that the treatment program Prince entered meant he was addicted to controlled substances.
The sources also added that many people go on outpatient programs to ensure that they don’t get addicted to painkilling medications, as well as those who seek help if they think they are becoming hooked and need counseling to stop taking the substances.
However, sources close to the law enforcement in Minneapolis have told 5 EYEWITNESS NEWS that only the Medical Examiner could tell if Prince’s autopsy showed any signs of a man that was addicted to painkilling medication and over-using them.
Also, with a toxicology report potentially still a month away from being released, his cause of death is still speculative. However, we do know that prescription meds were found in Prince’s possession at his Paisley Park compo
