He’s back! Bran makes his highly-anticipated return in episode 2 of the sixth season of ‘Game of Thrones,’ and he’s back on his feet. The new photos released of the episode tease even more big comebacks!
Bran Stark has been away from the Game of Thrones drama for a full season, but now he’s back and walking! He shows up in the May 1 episode of the show titled “Home.” And Bran’s definitely back home — in Winterfell! Plus, check out new photos of Meera Reed, Yara Greyjoy and more!
Bran (Isaac Hempstead Wright) is all grown up! The second to youngest Stark is back in Winterfell and walking, but it’s likely this is just a vision. After all, Bran is still unable to walk — as far as we know. The last time we saw Bran was in the season 4 finale when he met the Three-Eyed Raven (Max von Sydow).
It appears that Meera is still beyond the Wall. She’s probably still devastated over watching her brother Jojen (Thomas Brodie-Sangster) die at the hands of monsters.
Yara Greyjoy (Gemma Whelan) and Balon (Patrick Malahide) are also back and probably wondering where the hell Theon is. They don’t deserve to know, considering they haven’t really been worried about him since he was captured by House Bolton.
Over in Castle Black, Edd Dolorus has returned. What will his reaction be to Jon Snow’s death?! Will he help Davos (Liam Cunningham) take down Aliser (Owen Teale)?
The official synopsis for the May 1 episode reads: “Bran trains with the Three-Eyed Raven. In King’s Landing, Jaime advises Tommen. Tyrion demands good news, but has to make his own. At Castle Black, the Night’s Watch stands behind Thorne. Ramsay Bolton proposes a plan, and Balon Greyjoy entertains other proposals.”
In the season 6 premiere, we learned the fate of Jon Snow (Kit Harington), Sansa (Sophie Turner) and Theon (Alfie Allen) escaped from Winterfell, and Melisandre (Carice van Houten) revealed that she’s actually an old woman. Stay tuned for our recap of the May 1 episode!
