We’re used to seeing Khloe Kardashian, 31, dish on her latest glam looks through her Instagram and app, but her latest entry is all about the products missing from her routine – and not by choice! It turns out even the Kardashians’ aren’t immune to the upset of having a favorite product suddenly discontinued. Luckily, Khloe found the perfect substitutes, and she shared them all right on her app.
One of the benefits of having an amazing glam squad by your side is getting your hands on the best products out there. But when one of those desert island picks suddenly goes off the market, the experts are also able to help you find the best back up.
First up on Khloe’s list was the Giorgio Armani Face Fabric Second Skin Nude Makeup, which we’ve got to admit, we were pretty devastated over when it was discontinued, too. “It was a super light foundation that felt more like a tinted moisturizer,” Khloe wrote, adding, “Kendall heard it was going to be discontinued and I bought, like, 20 on Amazon.” Now that the product is completely sold out, Khloe recommends a much more wallet-friendly option, L’Oréal Paris Studio Secrets Smooth Souffle Makeup.
Tom Ford Lips & Boys Lip Color in Drake was another of Khloe’s favorites when she wanted to wear a berry-colored lip. Her option of choice? NARS Sheer Lipstick in Shrinagar. Another lip color that Khloe was sad to see go was Chanel’s Dragon, which she called “the best red” shade. In its place, Khloe’s rec is the NYX Xtreme Lip Cream in Absolute Red.
When it comes to those sky-high lashes Khloe never seems to leave the house without, the reality TV star said she was a fan of Maybelline XXL Mascara. Since it was discontinued, Khloe credits her makeup artist, Joyce Bonelli, with finding the perfect drugstore replacement.
