Cristiano Ronaldo, 31, will be bringing his abs to Manchester to take on the Citizens, who will be desperate to gain an advantage before they head to the Santiago Bernabeu for the second leg next week. The soccer god is ready for the challenge having just scored an epic hat trick to lead his team over Wolfsburg 3-0 victory and advance to semifinals of the Champions League. The Portuguese use to play for City’s fierce rivals Manchester United, so he’s likely to get some rough treatment from the fans watching.
Real Madrid aren’t just about Cristiano though. They boast an impressive attacking line-up filled of stars, including Rihanna‘s ex Karim Benzema, Colombian superstar James Rodriguez and Wales’ wing wizard Gareth Bale. Managed by Real’s favorite son, and former player, Zinedine Zidane they go into this game as slight favorites.
But City boasts its own pool of talented stars, including Argentinian striker Sergio Aguero. Interestingly, his former team was Real Madrid’s fierce rivals Atletico Madrid, so just like Cristiano he will be in for some rough treatment from the fans. It could get quite heated out there!
There’s so many great players on display that this will provide us plenty of entertainment. Both teams aren’t particularly known for their defensive play, so there should be plenty of goals. We can’t wait!
