Birdman (AKA Bryan Williams), 47, just wants a little respect when it comes to his name. He was invited to be a guest on Charlamagne Tha God‘s podcast, The Breakfast Club, but the interview didn’t last very long. See why!
As you can see in the video, as soon as he enters the studio, Birdman starts going off at Charlamagne, 35, and his crew. “Stop playing with my name. Stop playing with my f*cking name,” the rapper insists. “N*gga, when my name come up, respect it. Stop playing with my f*cking name. I ain’t gonna say it no more.” Point made, Birdman!
It doesn’t stop there, though. Once the tap is rolling on the podcast interview, Birdman refuses to engage in friendly banter with his hosts, instead reiterating his earlier point. “Let me tell you how I feel. Straight up like a man,” he declares/whines. Yes, we get it. “You all feel me. When you’re all saying my name, put some respect on it, okay?” He then puts his sunglasses on and storms out of the podcast studio, thus ending the 2-minute “interview”. Priceless. Birdman’s behavior is motivated by his feud with Lil Wayne. Toward the end of 2014, Lil Wayne tweeted that his Cash Money Records boss was withholding his checks, resulting in the delay of his next album. “I am a prisoner and so is my creativity Again,I am truly sorry and I don’t blame ya if ya fed up with waiting 4 me & this album. But thk u,” Lil Wayne tweeted on Dec. 4. “I want off this label and nothing to do with these people but unfortunately it ain’t that easy … my album won’t and hasn’t been released bekuz Baby & Cash Money Rec. refuse to release it,” he elaborated. Naturally, Birdman doesn’t want his name to be dragged through the mud on hip-hop podcasts like The Breakfast Club.

This is not my fault. I am truly and deeply sorry to all my fans but most of all to myself and my family for putting us in this situation.
