So damn cute. Prince Charlotte stole the spotlight in this new Royal Family pic, as she’s seen sitting — front and center — on Queen Elizabeth II’s lap! She’s also surrounded by her cousins and brother Prince George, but our eyes are on the gorgeous baby girl!
To mark her 90th birthday, Queen Elizabeth II posed with her grandkids and great-grandkids, including Princess Charlotte and Prince George, for one epic photo taken by famed photographer Annie Leibovitz. It’s so adorable, and Princess Charlotte steals the spotlight — see it here!
The photo, which shows Queen Elizabeth II with her seven smallest family members, was taken at Windsor Castle after the royal family celebrated Easter, according to Us Weekly. Mia Tindall, 2 (daughter of Zara and Mike Tindall), James, Viscount Severn, 8, and Lady Louise, 12 (the children of The Earl and Countess of Wessex), Savannah, 5, and Isla Phillips, 4 (daughters of Peter Phillips and his wife Autumn), plus the son and daughter of Prince William and Kate Middleton are all featured in the photo.
Plus, the picture featured above is just one of three released on Wednesday, April 20. Queen Elizabeth also posed for two other portraits — one of her walking the steps of Windsor Castle’s East Terrace with her corgis, and another sitting beside her daughter, Anne, The Princess Royal. The Queen’s official birthday isn’t until Thursday, April 20, but we think these photos are a great way to celebrate her nine decades of life. It’s her legacy in pictures!
This also comes a day after a new portrait of Prince George, posing alongside his mother, father, grandfather and great-grandmother, was released. And that one was just as cute!
