Uh oh! Our favorite TV lovebirds Gwen Stefani and Blake Shelton aren’t getting cozy on the set of ‘The Voice’ anymore, so does this mean there’s trouble in paradise? HollywoodLife.com has learned EXCLUSIVELY why the pair are no longer keeping constant company.
Say it isn’t so! We’re so used to seeing Gwen Stefani, 46, and Blake Shelton, 39, glued at the hip when working together on The Voice, but the days of their TV love fest are officially over, both in front of and behind the cameras! HollywoodLife.com has learned EXCLUSIVELY why she won’t even be hanging out with him behind the scenes anymore.
“Gwen will no longer be on or around the set while Blake is working. If she is not featured on the show in some way, as a coach or a mentor, then she will not hang around set just to be close with Blake. They may love each other and enjoy spending time together, but she respects his work space and will keep her time around the studios to a minimum,” a source tells HollywoodLife.com EXCLUSIVELY. How cute to know that Gwen isn’t one of those clingy type of girlfriends.
“She is a professional and knows how hard he works on the show. She does not want to get in the way of the job he must do on the NBC hit. Gwen gets that it is a big part of Blake’s career and so she will save their quality time together for when neither has obligations.” Awww, it’s so sweet that Gwen totally gets him in that way, and it gives him just another reason to love her so much. Stream Gwen’s music, completely unlimited and ad-free, RIGHT HERE.
We’re sure Gwen and Blake are going to spend plenty of quality time together over the next few months before she heads out on a summer tour in support of her new album This Is What The Truth Feels Like. The “Make Me Like U” singer announced Apr. 18 that she and rapper Eve, 37, will be spending most of July and Aug. hitting 25 cities across the country. That means we’re likely to get live performances of their 2001 classic hit “Let Me Blow Your Mind.” Wheeee! We just hope Blake makes sure to go visit her on tour because we can’t imagine these two going very long without seeing each other.
HollywoodLifers, are you bummed that Gwen’s not featured as much on The Voice this season? Do you miss her as a judge?
