It’s no secret that Alisan Porter is Season 10’s front-runner on ‘The Voice,’ but once you’re on top, one of the hardest things to do is stay on top. So, how is she handling it? HollywoodLife.com got the EXCLUSIVE scoop from Alisan herself!
Season 10 of The Voice is well underway, and ever since the Blind Auditions, Alisan Porter has consistently wowed the coaches and viewers with her killer performances. We caught up with the former child star after she was voted into the Top 12 and found out how she’s feeling about being such a fan favorite!
“It is crazy pressure,” Alisan admitted to HollywoodLife.com EXCLUSIVELY. “But it is incredible to hear that people are saying [I’m a front-runner] and I think it’s my job to push forward and continue to stay on that ladder as long as I can.”
If Christina Aguilera’s contestant continues on the path she’s been on, she could totally win this season of the show, but even she doesn’t take home the title, she has big plans for her future.
“I think the biggest goal is to stay on the map!” she explained. “I don’t want to use this and then disappear. I want to make a record immediately after this, the second I am done, whether I win or get voted off next week. I just want to be here and write songs and be in the music business and do shows and do what I love.”
The 34-year-old is known for starring in the film Curly Sue when she was just a child, but her career halted years later due to a drug addiction. Now, she’s sober and happily married with two kids, and ready to take the music world by storm. We can’t WAIT to see her next performance!
