Oh my god! ‘Saturday Night Live’ is always hilarious, but they really outdid themselves on April 16, when Julia Louis-Dreyfus reprised her role as Elaine to get political with Bernie Sanders and Hillary Clinton. We have all the details on the hilarious moment, right here!
We’re going to need a minute to catch our breath after laughing so hard at Saturday Night Live! The April 16 show had maybe the funniest moment we’ve ever seen when host Julia Louis-Dreyfus became Elaine yet again to talk economics with Larry David as Bernie Sanders. Here’s what went down during the hilarious sketch.
The April 16 episode of Saturday Night Live was sure to be amazing with the hilarious Julia as the host and the handsome Nick Jonas, 23, as the musical guest. But they went above and beyond to make it hilarious when Julia took back her role as Elaine on Seinfeld! Even better, she got political while being funny.
First, Hillary and Bernie did some typical debating before Julia busted on the scene and joined in. Who knew Elaine would make such valid political arguments?! We missed seeing her goofy high-strung personality on screen. However, what won us over was when Julia got all meta and told Larry, as Bernie, that Bernie’s economic plans would be bad for the Seinfeld creator… which, of course, is Larry! Did you get all that? It was amazing.
We knew this weeks Saturday Night Live would be one for the books. After the hilarious opening sketch, her monologue had us rolling on the ground, sharing even more clips of our girl Elaine. Um, vote to bring Seinfeld back? Everyone? Okay.
