“Katie and Jamie are crazy in love, and having a baby would be the ultimate way to complete their family,” a source revealed to Star magazine. “They are so excited to be going on this adventure together.” And adventure is right! With Katie’s daughter Suri, 10, and Jamie’s daughters Corinne, 22, and Annalise, 7, already in the mix, adding a third girl to their family would make for quite a big, happy fam!
But while four girls is a lot, having a baby girl is actually JUST what the stars wanted. “They always joked that they wouldn’t know what to do with a boy,” the insider divulged. “It’s not that they’d have minded either way, but they’ll be over the moon with a girl.” So sweet!
And apparently their daughters are JUST as pumped about becoming big sisters. “She and Jamie have even agreed to let the kids help pick the baby’s name,” another insider claimed. And while obviously Katie broke the happy news of her pregnancy to Jamie first, the three girls were the next to find out. “I could see them going crazy when they heard the news,” the insider gushed.
Jamie in particular, reportedly loves having daughters. In fact, all the women in his life have him wrapped around their fingers, according to the source. “He’s a pushover when it comes to his girls and he’s really a sensitive and nurturing dad.” He allegedly even treats Suri like one of his own! Unlike her father, Tom Cruise, 53, who refuses to see Suri on her 10th birthday!
But while Jamie’s reps have told HollywoodLife.com that these reports are completely false, the insider noted that that’s because the pair wants to keep their lives extremely private at this time. And we don’t blame the celebs! After all, Katie’s relationship with her ex-husband Tom Cruise was VERY public and painful. This new report also comes on the heels of Katie being spotted wearing a stunning diamond AND a gold band on her left ring finger. But pregnant or not, we are so happy for this pair and wish them all the best!
